“I found researching solar was a minefield. But the research that I came across from CSIRO and CHOICE, as well as that info session I attended hosted by The Energy Experts, gave me certainty about LG panels,” says Peter. “Not only have we been thrilled with the products we’ve chosen, but the same goes with the service we received from The Energy Experts and the quality of the installation. Peter and his partner Frieda have had their system installed now for several years. Their Solar Analytics monitoring gives them phenomenal visibility of not only their solar power system’s performance, but also their household energy consumption, including how much of their free solar energy they’re self-consuming at the time of production.
“I find it invaluable being able to see how much of our free solar energy we’re using. We try to run as many appliances during the day as we can. The real time app helps inform our decisions around when to run appliances. I think we’ve saved considerably more and paid off our system considerably faster by having this data available.”

UPDATE as of 12 Oct 2019 – Below is a report for the total period we have had our system and our Solar Analytics monitoring installed (27 Feb 2018). As can be seen below, we’ve had a saving of $3,106; exported 10.7MWh to the grid; and had a net return in credits of $1,053.
